Nourished Not Numb-
emotional eating and women’s empowerment.
Have you ever felt like you struggle every month? Struggle with energy, mood fluctuations, weight shifts, mental load, and just everything else that comes with life?
Most individuals who live within this 28-day hormonal cycle have been led to believe that intense mood swings, acne, constipation, feeling bloated, migraines, and extreme cramping are just a part of owning a uterus.
Navigating hormonal fluctuations can feel like an insurmountable challenge to overcome, but it doesn’t need to feel this way.
A powerful team
This is a first for Healing Ginger and The Centre for Emotional Eating. They are teaming up to offer a workshop to help women and female identifiying individuals with the hormonal, emotional and mental fluctations that occur in any given month.
As women, we often carry immense expectations—to take care of others, to succeed, to meet societal standards, to fit-in, to have our shit together—all while suppressing our emotions and needs. Today, we are here to shift the narrative around women’s roles and expectations (appearance, success, motherhood, aging, etc..)

However, talking about nutrition and mental health can feel heavy so if you would prefer to email in questions ahead of time and you can of course remain anonymous.
